Worshiping at Congregation Beth Israel is like being with family. Our community identifies as a place where the sacred sounds of Jewish music and interactive liturgies bring us closer to God. All our Services are participatory and engaging with a strong sense of commitment to the traditions of Jewish liturgy along with contemporary teachings, readings and music. Worship with us!  We’re saving a seat for you!

Shabbat Services will be held in the Goldsmith Sanctuary. Members and guests must be at least 10 years of age to attend any in-person Services.  Participants must pre-register by the prior Thursday at 5 PM. An attendance confirmation email will be sent out Friday by Noon to confirm your seat. Priority will be given to members first and then guests. If there are more requests than available seats, a lottery system will be used. To make your reservation, please fill out our form and submit your interest to attend.

Shabbat Prayer Books

As a member of the Union for Reform Judaism, we use “Mishkan T’Filah: A Reform Siddur,” for Shabbat and Holy Days as well as “Gates of Repentance for the Days of Awe,” for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Services are conducted in both Hebrew and English with transliterations available in “Mishkan T’Filah” for all Hebrew prayers.

Follow along with the Mishkan T’Filah online.

Simchat Shabbat Service

Once a month we have a Simchat Shabbat service. A Shabbat service for Jews with special needs.
