Join us in an inaugural Kol Isha event connecting CBI with the broader community. We’ll enjoy a lovely farm-to-table picnic lunch, followed by a 2-hour group project at nearby Sojourner Center assisting in their donation center and set-up for new residents entering their shelter. Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes. Optional donation: bring an item off their wish list (they accept gently used) to assist with their donation center. For more than 40 years, the Sojourner Center has been serving thousands of women, children and pets each year through its shelter, transitional housing and community outreach programs, and various other programs. Last year Sojourner became an affiliate program of Jewish Family and Children’s Services (JFCS) .
