Rabbi Abrahamson will share her thoughts and address our questions as we learn from the past and look towards the future. About B. Elka Abrahamson Rabbi Elka B. Abrahamson has served as President of The Wexner Foundation since 2011. Internationally regarded as one of the most important programs of leadership and training of Jewish professionals and lay leaders, the Wexner Foundation develops and inspires leaders in the North American Jewish Community and the State of Israel. Rabbi Abrahamson oversees the Foundation’s full range of activities and imagines how the Foundation might further strengthen and educate Jewish professional and volunteer leaders in North America and public service leaders in the State of Israel. Ordained at HUC-JIR, New York, Elka began her career as associate rabbi at Peninsula Temple Beth El, San Mateo, CA (in the very position held by our beloved Rabbi Mason-Barkin). Rabbi Abrahamson is a dynamic speaker and an engaging teacher with a dynamic approach toward creating a Jewish future filled with possibility.
