Carol Seidberg

Carol received her BS degree in Special Education from Syracuse University, a Master’s in Education from Boston College and post graduate work at Western Michigan University.  Throughout her early professional carrier, Carol worked as a specialist for the visually impaired as well as, Executive Director of the Paradise Valley Education Foundation.

Carol’s involvement as a community activist began when she moved to Phoenix in 1973 with her husband, Ken. She began as a participant in the Young Leadership Program of the Jewish Federation of Greater Phoenix and began a two-year introduction to Jewish organizations in Greater Phoenix and a development of leadership skills. Before the birth of our sons, David and Jonathan, she immersed herself in her professional career and volunteer organizations. After the birth of her two sons she began to juggle part-time work and a greater role in volunteerism on local, regional and national levels.  Her community involvement includes word with the American Israel Public Relations Committee, the Phoenix Sister Cities Commission and Board Member of Jewish Family & Children’s Services since 1982.

Carol and Ken became members of CBI in 1974.  Carol has been chairperson of the Endowment Fund for the Second Century at CBI since 2000.  She is a proven leader in the community and very happy to be able to give back.
